Default Cams

I had a set of BBR's stage 1 cams installed and dyno tuned, now my car has serious lag under 2500 rpms. Cruising on the highway 5th gear has to be above 85 mph if not it kinda bogs down. I have great top end speed but the lag is killing me. I bought a BBK throttle body and delete plates to maybe help with the air flow, but is there anything else I can do. The car feels like an old turbo spooling up and then hitting 2500k it takes off. Any help from the tech gurus in here would be greatly appreciated.
Car is an 07 GT with 4:10s.

That sucks! I have comp cams stage III. And I don't get any lag at any rpm.
Did you install? Or did you take it to a pro?

Had a pro do it. Almost feels like it is building pressure and then it unleashes the monster. Here is my dyno sheet after it was done

I wonder if O/R pipe and headers would help?

That is what I have, but I don't think that will really change what you are feeling. What did your tuner say?

the delete plates is your problem, they affect the low rpms and rob your power. if you dont do highway and such and drag and want top end then add them if not they will hidder you, i suggest putting back the plates.

So you are saying that the delete plates will rob my low end. Never too much modding. [sm=guilty.gif]

That curve seems very steep at the beginning, thats really odd. Im not sure what the reason for your lack of low end power is, sorry... but I would advise against the throttle body. Lots of people, if not most everyone, that has tried an aftermarket TB or spacer has had trouble with it. It really isnt worth it, just return it and keep your money. And I doubt that the delete plates are your problem, yes they do move the power a little higher into the range, but you shouldnt see much of a tq loss down low, maybe ~10 or so, but nothing like youre experiencing.
