That is a sealed hydraulic clutch. You might have an air pocket. I had to have the vacuum my system down and then refill it under a vacuum using a special machine.

Mine works great now... I had my Hurst Shorty the whole time, and only the vac down helped mine.

HmMMMMMM brb ill try searching as many variables as i can think of relating to this... I can find things on clutches slipping, but thats reverse of our probs. The clutch grabs fine and strong, it just doesnt want to go in in the first place or come out. Ill search now

According to the tech at Ford... it is a rare occurance, but has been seen as a result of going with the sealed Hydraulic systems... Once it is done though, you won't have a problem unless you spring a leak, but as with any Hydraulic system a leak is bad... so you should be good for a long time....
