You would be surprised how strong the3M tape really is.
Well thats provided you prep the area well with a good alcohol solutionand clean off any wax and oils that might be there.
My quarter window louvers are held on by the 3M tape and it doesnt look like they are going to fall off anytime soon. (ugh i just jinxed myself!)

I don't like the scoops especailly on the rear windows.

Until I can get a 3-M adhered supercharger there will be no more 3-M on my car.

 

I think the side-scoops that the Shelby CS6 has are pretty nice, the sweep of the scoop follows the body better IMO.

 

I agree. Just waiting for mine to fall off.

 

I dislike the side scoops and have yet to see a set that did anything to add to the looks of the s197 stangs. IMO the side scoops break up the free-lowing lines and cause too much focus on them. Just because something is modeled after anoldschool style doesn't mean it looks good.

 

I got the 3D Carbon ones. they're a tad slimmer then the Ford scoops.
