Love my 06 GTconvertible, started using it as a DD in March because I love driving it so much, couldn't stand to leave it the garage.
The rain on the interior is no biggie, always have some detailer with you for the bird droppings
I haven't noticed any crazy noises because its a vert (was driving a 12 year old Jeep previously so a new car even a vert is a big step up). If you get 1 you won't be dissapointed.
