how many cc's is the 4.6L engine?

i just might be a complete idiot, but from what you're saying, the 4.6L is the displacement and the 281cc is its physical size?
can't believe i don't know this

English measurement is 281 cubic inches.
Metric is 4.6 liter ( 1000 cc / liter = 4600 cc )
