Well I tried popping off the cap and now I scratched the outer piece. **** can I just take the whole thing off?

 

Well it's a scratch and I just learned from Brenspeed it does have a GT underneath however it's just proxy chrome GT underneath. Proxy is used to put things together. So If you aren't obbessive like me and have tried this yet then just leave it alone. DDDDammmmmmmmmmmugh.[&:]

 

Thanks for experimenting with yours Daniel, I was about to go try mine... but Im still wondering how they put tape over top of this guys and it came off on the tape if there is a plastic layer on top of it?

 

I don't know but one thing I do know that fake gas cap is plastic with plastic chrome paper over it. If you can conquer the bitch tell me.

 

I wonder what the V6's pony would look like with the decal peeled off...

That stinks that it didnt work out for the rest of you... I honestly think it looks awesome. MUCH cleaner than the stock one... Would look good on a 'clean' car.

 

Not bad at all, you could probably sell them on E-bay!

 

Well I decided to be the guinea pig and did it. I just took some fine steel wool to my emblem and the paint came right off, with a little work of course. Let me know what you think. I don't know if I should keep the Ford black or remove the paint as well
