I wonder if it's not an "upgrade" part of the appearance package.

 

My military friend will you please sell it to me. Mine has a bubble over the GT part. I'm getting another one from brenspeed however I think only yours is the correct part being that it came from a 2007 and mine was made way back in September of 2004. Is anyone capable of taking a picture of their 2007stock rear GT emblem and posting it. I want to see the difference.

 

ditch it, the black looks great with the black stripes and yellow paint.

 

My car is a 2007, its orange (orange replaced yellow for the 2007 MY).

But I agree, the black and orange look good together. The solid chrome takes away fom the colors.

Well I frequent a Ford Dealership today and observed that the new models have a new rear deck emblem. They aren't the same as the 05s' and more likely the 06s'. Hate to say it but everyone of them I saw had paint chips on the center unlike mine which has the GT part enclosed in a plastic protective coating. I still wish I had the new one so I couldmake an all silver one on my jet black GT. I think it would accent it better. Good Day

 

Lets see if the dealer lets me keep it first. But I shall ask him for it.

Sorry to revive the post, but this happened to me today....I want to peel off the rest of the black, and paint it red to match my stripes.

 

Looks good, mine is scratched from my keys. I'll think I will peel it also.

 

I never did get that one from sabrexray. If anyone would sell me their's. I would buy it in a New York minute.
