as did i...

i allready put a 18 inch neon in the truck.. under the deck.. cleanest install ever.. ran the wires to the existing switch on the trunk light from factory.. kept the white light hooked up also.. but disconected after realizing it contrasted with the blue and didnt look good.. so now its jsut the blue..and you can actually see into the trunk now.. instead of just the front 12 inches or so at night..

also.. i ran the wires through the black plastic tueb wrap and woulnt ever know it was there unless you looked for it.. or saw it on at night.. and you can only see the glow.. no bulb!! you literally have you stick your head into the truck and look up to see the neon it seld... which makes it clean and perfect..

just lettin you all know..

and for the two 10 inch ones i ordered from that site on ebay.. i plan on hookin the um to run all the time.. in other words.. run it to the fuse box and use the fuse that you would use to hook up an after market amp or something.. but basically a fuse that runs only when the key in in the on position or when the car is turned on..

then im going to hook up a tiny dim switch so that i can adjust it.. bc i did a mod liek this to my f150.. blue neons.. and they were so bright that it acutally made it so i couldnt see out the windws some times at ngiht.. so this way i can adejust the brightness.. and when its hooked up to the fuse box, it wont be able to stay on when the keys arent in it!.. aka.. NO DEAD BATTERY WHEN YOU FORGET TO TURN THE DIM/SWITCH OFF!!!

I cant see why you would want any interior lights on when driving.

hoenstly.. most of the time at night.. i dont.. but like if i have a girl in the car.. or if im cruisin.. or whatever.. basically.. sometimes i like em.. sometimes i think i will turn them off.. bc it will probably get anoying..

its accent lighting i guess.. nothing nescesary.. which is why im hookin the dim and switch up!

GT Stang, any pics of your trunk install, sounds like another good way to improve on Ford's poor lighting in the car

well placed interior neons are a great effect. got any under the chair dude? they look awesome there too. i was thinking of putting a small one near the e-brake since it should glow through the rubber hole. any thoughts on that?

i dont know about the one in the e-brake hole.. personally.. i think it can be nice.. but it can easily be overdone..

the reason i like them under the dash rather then the chair is bc then it shines down on your feet at night.. where as under the chair, it would create a huge shadow near the pedals and such..

i will get some pics for sure.. and maybe do a small write up.. but its allready installed.. so .. ill do what i can.. its raining right now..(florida.. *sigh*).. but ill get some of how its mounted.. how the wires where ran.. and how it shines at night..

glad you like the mod..
