Default My audio project

I decided to remove my factory door speakers and add a woofer and tweeter. I have a buddy who made me some brushed aluminum adaptor plates to go from and 8" sub to a 6.5" woofer. Also from a 6" x 8" to a tweeter plus a pony cutout. I'll be adding blue led lights behind the pony cutout. Anyone know how I could wire the led lights to my dome light so it is only on when the dome light is?

bump - I still could use some help figuring out how to tap into the dome light wiring.

Just a hunch, but maybe try following the initial instructions for the footwell light in this thread: https://mustangforums.com/m_3190845/tm.htm

That'll get you into the wiring for the dome lights, as for extending those wires over to the door panels, can't really say. Haven't torn my new one apart enough to know for sure. Looks like an interesting idea though
