What is the difference between the SCT XCalibrator2 and the SCT SF Strategy tuners?

sct SF has canned tunes on it and a few more user options i think.......i wouldnt get it, just stick with the xcal2, get it from bama or brenspeed.....anything else the search button will take care of it.

What about a device labeled SCT Xcalibrator 2 SF (model 9415)? It would be nice if one of the tuners on this site would chime in here...

That is what i just told you about, its actually called

9415 SF Strategy Flash Device

It has the canned tunes. There is no "Xcalibrator 2 SF"....you are combining the names of the 2 tuners

Read previous statement for the better option.

Then what the heck is this?

This is why I wish someone that knew something about these things would answer...

lets try this for the third time:

9415 SF is from SCT directly and covers the basics with basic CANNED/GENERIC TUNES where a 9400 Custom Tuner is a custom tuner with a more specific tune setup by the SCT tuner of you choice. You can go from the 9415 SF to the 9400 Custom Tuner via an SCT XCal2 software download;

SCT Live Load 3 - UPDATED 01-05-2007
Application: 9400 Custom Tuner or 9415 SF Strategy Flash Device
This program is designed for the end user to update their 9400 Xcalibrator Custom Tuned device with end user adjustability. You must receive the *.LL3 file from your custom tuning dealer to program onto your Xcalibrator 2 flash tool. This program can also be used to convert a 9415 Strategy Flasher and turn it into a 9400 Custom tuner. Note: This is a ONE-WAY operation, and you cannot go back to the Pre-Loaded SF Flash Device.

Like I stated before, get the tuner from Bamachips, VMP, or Brenspeed.
