I am getting ready to put some new rubber on my baby and am curious what the general consensus is on replacements.

I obviously want it to be cost effective but I will not scrimp on them.

Anyone replaced theirs and what are your thoughts on the ones you chose.

I know a lot of poeple like the Nitto 555's. I've been pretty happy with my stock BFG KDWS M+S tires if you're thinking about going with the stock size they are only $99 a tire.

I've always loved the Nitto 555s, but this time my Ford dealership (who I didn't even know sold tires or thought they would be reasonable if they did) had a special going on for a couple days and I was able to get a set of Toyos for my 20" wheels for $800 mounted and balanced. No on else, even discount who I usually buy from could come close. I'm really happy with the Toyos - their super quiet, great traction, seem to be wearing great, and have one of the best tread patterns I've seen.

Go with the 555's or the KDW's. I think the KDW's will be better in the rain.
