Vista Blue = Purple ???

It does have a purple look to it at an angle with the sun at the right angle, but to think people will mistake this color for purple is just stupid. I smell a troll and if so a pretty lame attempt.

actually my apologies....You are referring to Vista Blue not Sonic Blue which I have...and I have to say you are EVEN further off base....Vista is even further from the Purple spectrum.....both are great Blue...that is like saying your car looks brown.......lets work on basic colors.....

Anyway, I was not confused, thinking that the color IS purple. I said it LOOKS purple. There is a difference. Of course, there are different shades of purple, and one of those shades is what I saw on the vista blue car. Like I said, if you have to ask what color the car is, what good is it? At least it didn't look like a schoolbus, a.k.a. grabber orange.

LOL. You can tell us VISTAs and SONICs love our cars! I constantly got compliments on how nice the colors were (both my cars SONIC/VISTA). EVERY weekend I drive my car and stop at stores, gas stations, etc. I get positive comments. I can tell you chicks really dig the car and I believe it's blue enough to be masculine for me too. I'm sure every other mustang owner who has a different color will tell you how beautiful their "color" looks. I have to agree there's not one color that doesn't look bad and catches someone's eye. My personal favorites are VISTA (of course 
), Dark Red (forgot color), Legend Lime, Blueveil (is that the right name?) and Orange (the new orange).

That's funny 'cause I thought the Tungsten Grey was a little purplish, at least that's what a friend calls my Tungsten GT. Maybe that Vista Blue 'Stang you saw was parked next to a purple car............ya know, reflections.........[&:] Although purple is a derivative of blue, so maybe your eyes are sensitive to blue colors in particular.
