Tuner question
So the next mod I will be getting is a tuner of some sort
but I have questions which must be answered
if I were to buy a tuner like the SuperChips Flashpaq or Brenspeed XCalibrator, do these take into account my K&N CAI and Fully-catted Flowmasters?
Thanks for the help

The included octane tunes are made for stock cars. Tuners come withextra tunes that are made for specific parts, like certain brands for CAI makers, but I dont know if K&N filter or cat mods would be included.
You'll probably want a custom tune.
You'll probably want a custom tune.
If you go with someone like Brenspeed, B*ama, Evo, etc. you tell them what you've already got on the car and they will send you a set of three tunes (87, 91, and 93 octane) which take your mods into account.
They don't really make tunes for MPG. Most tunes tend to give better MPG as it is...
And yes, you can order tunes for 87 octane... Thats what I order. Unless you're a racer or something, any daily driver will have a hell of a time with an 87 tune, and best yet youre sticking to ford specs.
