Default RE: Ordering and installing OEM cross member?

The convertible has two extra bracings that the coupes do not have:

1) the cross member brace that Barry is installing for the front suspension

2) 2 long bracesthat mount to the body frame rails at one end and the spare tire pocket.on the other for added stiffness in the rear.

You can add these braces to the coupes if you want as it already has the provisions for them.

Just to let everyone know that my replacement cross member brace and nuts came in today. No hassles at all from the dealer. Even got an apology, as the parts guy told me there was a mix-up in description when talking to the mechanic. Can't beat that honesty.

The brace installed just fine. 35 ft/lbs. The nuts snugged up as expected with no sign of crushing.[/align]
