Default 4V in S197

Howdy,
I am planning on building an FI motor for my 07 GT, I was wondering, is it very difficult to put a 4v into the S197? Is it as simple as conecting the new comp? I am considering this because it seems that the 4v responds better to hot rodding, the 3v is great but if I am going to build a whole new motor then I thought I might just kick it up a notch. If i was going to start with just a long block, can Iuse the 4v from the Lincoln MkLT truck, or any other 4.6 4v?
Thanks for any help,
Jason
