RE: 18 inches vs 19 inches
This is one example of "Muscle Car" Stance!
Foghorn2 - You say this looks Mexican? This is American Muscle looking to me and probably most of us people who like Muscle Cars. Pantera72 car has a very nice slightly rigged look to it, not too much, looks classy in a muscle car way.

Foghorn2, I still don't get the "mexican" thing you keep writing about. You sound ignorant bro...
Anyways... I originally thought this is the style that you were referring to...

RE: 18 inches vs 19 inches
First off, Foghorn you are retarded. You are not worth the time it takes to type what i really think, so i wont.
Second, to each their own. I preffer something 18 inches or smaller mainly because they do not make drag radials for anything larger than an 18 inch rim. I think 20's look sick on these cars, but i also love the big tire look such as what i went for. Having a drag radial is important to me and i didnt feel like having two sets of rims. The only reason i dont agree with 19's is the tire selection and price. If you do find a tire for them, they are going to most likely hurt your wallet. And like i said before, you cant put a drag radial on them.

To me anything greater than 17" looks mexican to me.

WTF. Wow. That maybe the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I though Hispanics actually were more prone to low riders, so wouldn't they use a smaller rim? hmmmmm. Can't say I have ever seen a 20 inch on a low rider with Hyrdo.
Anyway, I would say go with 18, if you ever decide to go with a D/R. If not a money is not an issue and you fine a 19" you like get that. I love my 20" but I have to get another set for the D/R which sucks.

RE: 18 inches vs 19 inches
It's a hard decision. But 18 versus 19, I think there may be more tire choices with 18" wheels? Don't realy know though.
As for effecting your 1/4 mile times - it has much more to do with sidewall flex in a taller tire (versus little in a low sidewall tire) than the diameter. You can actually reduce rotational mass with a larger diameter rim and low profile tire if selected properly. But I would not worry about that. It looks like you are much more interested in look that 1/4 mile performance.
Good luck and let us know what you choose!
