It was an option because it was ordered that way, just like any other optional equipment. In the past, I have bargined the dealer to swap tires when the OEM tires were crap. I think they have to leave the wheels on a car if it is stickered that way, but they sure ought to be able to come up with some other ones if they want your business.

Have the dealer to a locate. Mne did and had to drive the car 150 miles to the dealership. Go to Edmunds.com and price out the car. You will see MSRP, Inv and what others are paying in your aera, with any discounts from Ford.
If the dealer wont to a locate, try anther dealer. Who cares which Ford dealer you buy the car from, as long as you get what you want. Don't take any BS from the delaership.

I have some 07 fan blades and tires, They have 150 miles on them. I offered them for $250 + shipping, But if you would like to outbid that. I'll sell them to the highest bidder.
