Default Got screwed by a wheel vendor

I want EVERYONE to know about the horrible service I received from LAKESHORE WHEEL AND TIRE.

I ordered a set of 18x9 Cobra R replica wheels, with the 45mm offset. I already had the tires waiting here at home to go on the wheels. They called me and let me know that they were out of stock on the 45mm wheels, but had a set of 30mm if I wanted those instead. After some researchI decided they would probably work well and agreed to have them sent. THEY SENT ME 17 INCH WHEELS!!!

After no response to 2 phone messages and 1 email, I called and someone answered the phone. He was rude and said that I ordered 17" wheels and he had the order to prove it. I ordered no such thing. Even if I had clicked on the wrong icon I confirmed the order with the girl that called me about the different offset. I specificly told her the make and size of the tires, and verified that they were 18x9. He said they would send me what I wanted but I had to pay forALL of the shipping chargesAND the difference in price. they are LIARS and are RUDE and do not deserve my business or any of yours.

Did you use a credit card to purchase? If you did call the credit card Co & dispute the charges. They will either reverese the charges or put a hold on payment.THAT useually works. Tell them to pick up THEIR tires @ THEIR cost if they want them back.
Did you buy them online? If so then you should have a e-mail confermation w/ what you ordered.

The email confirmation doesn't confirm the size. I used my bank check card - not a real credit card. BofA is useless. I got screwed and i'm going to tell EVERYBODY

Good, tell everyone. They deserve it.

I'd definately give BofA a better try... Go into a branch and bitch.

And hey, like it or not, I wouldn't mind someone with an AMEX ordering something and then INTENTIONALLY stopping the payment after they receive the product and claim its wrong.

Revengeis a b*tch best served cold. I mean a dish.

Yes, but sometimes you must use outside vendors to get the items you want. Our sponsors don't sell everything.

Someone's being harsh. I would think that most vendors are(to a point) legit and in business to make a living. We will never know when it'll be "our turn" to get screwed over, but I think RodeoFlyer is great to share his misfortune with us, he took his lumps and we should all be grateful for him passing the info.
Can't blame a person for trying to seek out the best deal for themselves, can we?
