Just to confirm I have the 2005 17" Alloy rims and im pretty sure they are 8" wide, and im looking to put 295's on the rear. Im pretty sure this should work just fine, but I just wanted to make sure 100% before I ordered the tires, especially since its my D.D! I think Mickey ET Street Radials are the verdict size P295/45R17, as long as no one believes I will encounter probs. Im leaving the fronts alone at this point in time, but thanks for your input!![8D]

 

295 on 8 wheel is probably not going to work.....check tire rack for the specs....275 i think is stretching it.

 

295 sounds a bit large for 17x8. I wouldn't put more than 275 on.

 

I really dont think the 295 is gonna work, I think it has to be either 275 or 285, but I'm not sure.

 

Youll probably need a 9.5 - 10.5 inch wide wheel for that tire

 

wow! Thanks for the input guys! Its a good thing I didnt take the salesman's word up front without bringing it back here to you all! lol I kinda had a funny feeling about a tire nearly 12" wide fitting on a 8" rim, just didnt make sense... regardless THANK YOU ALL!!!

295/45/17 is unrecognized. 275/50/17 is a recommended size and will work on the 8" rim.

295 flat out won't work. I wouldn't go any wider then 255 on the stock wheels. Even 275 is pushing it, there recommened for a 9" rim.
