I just purchased an 07 Mustang GT. I don't dump the clutch, light up the tires, or chirp through the gears everyday, but I do accelerate pretty hard quite often. Anyway, I was just wondering how hardyou candrive these cars before you start toseeserious wear and tear??? Iintend on keeping it for a long time so should I take it easy or are they durable enough to play around with on a regular basis without breaking anything???

Well, I have had mine for almost 2 years now, and I beat it every time I turn the key, without problems so far, about 14,000 miles worth.

 

As long as you change the oil and filters regularly and don't push it hard until it's warmed up you will find these cars to be very durable. Certainly when compared to most of the super light duty FWD crap that's out there.

 

My motto is beat on it! If it breaks, replace it with a more durable mod!! ftw!
