Anyone with an 06 automatic tried to change out the factory shifter? I have done some mods to the interior and things look really good, but this cheap shifter that Ford put on is driving me crazy.

B&M was suppose to be coming out with a shifter a few months ago for the autos although its been delayed because i think they might merge with hurst or something like that . But unfortunately the shifter is better for shifting in the auto but it looks almost worse than the stock.

 

Once again there are no shifters out for the auto. Currently theres only one in design, the one mentioned above, and its not pretty, but its not supposed to be. It is being designed for purpose rather than appearance. And this topic only has like... 15 posts, all of which can easily be found using the search. It gets discussed here almost weekly.

I was just thinking about the Explorer, Sport Trac, Aviator, Lincoln LS and T-bird.......they all use the 5R55S transmission. I wonder if any of those shifters can be used in the stang.
