How do you care for your matt vinyl stripes? Do you wax them when you wax your car? Do you use ArmourAll on them? Or what? I've had a little trouble with mine looking right. They're especially prone to water spotting. I do dry the car when I wash it, but if it rains on the stripes and then it dries on there, especially the hood stripes look very splotchy. So does my paint, but the stripes look even worse.

I'm pretty sure I saw that the manufacturers say specifically NOT to wax the matte stripes...

After I wash the car I dry the stripes first with a chamois and then with a soft cotton cloth to avoid spots. Pain in the **Sbut its the only way I have found to prevent water marks. The dealer who installed my matte stripes told me to stay away from waxing and amourall as it will add a sheen to the matte stripes.
