cervini shaker kit
To shed light on your questions(to the best of my knowledge
)
1. I'd doubt it would add any "dyno" hp, it's more of a "ramming" effect(hence it's name) and helps at higher speeds toforcedenser, coolerair into the intake tract. Although they do sound cool
2. Well, the entire kit from Cervini's is about $1250.00, so figure another grand to paint & install
3. Yes you would be able to maintain your CAI, but some fabrication to the plumbing to feed the CAI inlet tube would be necessary

I dont thinkit si worth it either unless you are going for a certain look that is functional to an extent. Ram air is great but it is alot of hype rather than actual HP. JMO
Taco Bill has a writeup on a shaker hood he installed. It looked like he was able to do it without having to repaint the hood. Taco Bill does an awesome job in putting together instructions for various mods including pics, the shaker hood he installed himself I found on the Internet direct for $750.00. Still a little to expensive for me, but much less expensive than what is listed on the Cervini without the cost of a repaint.
I too am looking at the Cervini shaker hood. Any truth to the comments I've heard that says with these fiberglass hoods you have to worry about them cracking and the possibility of them "coming off" due to their lightweight nature. The Cervini does look great w/ it's retro look.
