Red Leather question...pic
has this happened to any of you who have used any sort of leather cleaner on the red leather? has me a little worried, but i dont have it parked in the sun right now and its pretty dry, the red doesnt' seem to get onto my hand, but the sponge got plenty on it.
so what do you guys use for the seats?

Nah youre okay. I used ArmorAll Leather Conditioner on mine and i had a white wrag that I was applying it with and another white wrag that I was wiping it off with and I got a little red on those as well but the seats were good. I wouldnt worry about it for now but If you notice that when you are wiping that your leather is starting to fade in that area, I would quit....

Hi - I have red leather and use "Lexol" (a conditioner and cleaner). Prior to getting the car, I used it on my leather couches for years. Noproblems. At my local dealership, I noticed they had it on the shelf in the parts department, so I wouldsay Ford recommends it ...

That's about what my rag looked like first time i treated my seats. I used the turtle wax leather cleaner/treater.. something like that.. it was around $9 or so. As with any conditioner, always try a conspicuous spot first to see if there's any adverse reaction before applying it en masse.
