Default HD radio?

Can I install a HD radio to the Shaker 500? Is it HD Ready? Use the AUX?

I switched out the Manufacturer radio on my 2006 E-350 for an HD radio......no problems here.

I would like to keep my radio, just use an adapter? I have to admit, I haven't researched this much (slow day at work) but I like the idea.

The adapter is fine to get the audio into the AUX jack.
The controls for the HD radio would be seperate.
