Often, when I hit a big bump, I hear a big thump... For a while I thought it was something in the body below the little window, but I am relatively confident it's in the driver side door.

I tried jerking the door and the window while the car is not moving and it seems solid. But something definetely moves in it on the bumps. Anyone has had a similar experience or has any clue what it could be?

Thanks, this is helpful, however, the sound seems to come from the door. It 'feels' like it's coming from there too.

having taken the door apart to install new speakers, i don't remember therebeing a lot there with enough mass to make a real noticeable thump or thunk...

i would take it apart myself and take a look-see. really easy to do.
