HEEEEEELP.
A lot of people having problems with the throttle bodies from what I hear. However, I agree with the earlier poster, when you get your tuner (it appears you already ordered one) see what code the car is throwing. If it is a tune issue then you can get a tune from Bama or Brenspeed as a stand alone. I think they charge like $75.00, not positive. If it's something else at least you'll know in which direction to go. It appears until you find out what the code is you cant narrow down the problem and your just guessing.

Ignorant? 20 years ago you didnt need a tuner to mess with the timing as the cars had barely any computers in them. These cars are run by computers, therefore you need a computer to change things such as timing, DUUUH! lol.
You add more air, your car goes lean, needs more fuel. Car adds more fuel via tuner, is that simple enough for you? It's common sense man. Dont go calling people ignorant because what we are talking about is way over your head.

He doesn't need a tune for either of those parts. There is a problem somewhere, be it an electrical connection , loose clamp, cracked hose, etc. Take the intake and tb off and start over. There is clearly a problem - not a tuning issue. There are way too many ignorant people around here that think the magic little plug-in box cures everything. I wonder what half the kids driving these cars would have done 10 or 20 years ago when there were carburetors and no ****ing Diablosport and SCT.

thanks alot guys, learning alot. talked to the guys at brenspeed today bc i was ready to buy a tuner with the custom tunes and they said i shouldnt need a tune/tuner to make my car run, only to get maximum performance out of the parts i have. also i mentioned how it wouldnt even start at the end of the day yesterday.. well. it started this morning and is still running. im thinking those that said its the TB are right, and Dave from Brenspeed said that throttlebodies are an overrated mod as it is, that mostly him and his co-workers dont even bother to put them on. im still contemplating taking it to the dealership to see what error codes it throws out there..
still waiting on my part to get in, but can anyone tell me why just like yesterday.. the car starts in the morning, tho im sure by the end of the day, the results would be the same.. not starting..
the official word from the dealership was that i had a bad fuel pump connection.. go figure. yes, that would explain the whole not starting thing from the last couple of days.. so im just gonna send my throttle body back to brenspeed and let them test it..
I have an '06 GT, auto with the K&N cai and have been running without any problems (unless you count the some odd 200mi I drove evidentally with the intake disconnected from the filter...)and never any warnings or problems in performance. WhileI am no grease monkey,I would have to agree with the throttle body and the combination (possibly) of the CAI being the culprit. I recall threads on here a year ago not so much warning but making known that replacing the TB will/may cause warnings and the like. The tune would most likely fix the bug. Good luck!
