stiffer springs ?
Hey guys, i find that the eibach prokit springs arnt nearly as stiff as i'd like them to be, i was looking around but cant decidie which other springs are a noticable difference in stiffness, do you guys have any suggestions? and will they work with the tokico d specs?
i was thinking about the Steeda Competition Springs, how much of a drop are those? and what are the spring rates ?
thanks

RE: stiffer springs ?
Not stiff enough...?..just turn up your D-specs all the way..that will be plenty stiff then...
I have BMR springs...You dont really need a stiff spring.. u want some traver in you suspension...everything else will compliment it..
especially the d-specs... As far as the Steeds..just call them and get the info from them..

tokicos are full stiff right now lol, but it still has a good amount of nose dive and weight transfer all over the place... im just really crazy when it comes to this stuff, i guess im just used to driving imports with a stiff coilover suspension =/

Really..when mine is full stiff ( no pun) the ride is Brutal...and has no i mean no body roll....
maybe because i have a few more things.. i wouls suggest a BMR sway bar for you now...

well the body roll is very minimal but i still get a bit of nose dive, eh i guess its fine for the street, but the springs dont feel much stiffer then stock, i ride around on full stiff 24/7, yeah i guess my next mods are sway bars & ruca, but either way i'm looking for a better drop (something along the lines of sportline...)
any suggestions for better drop then the eibach prokit?

I dont know how you can ride on full firm..the ride is punishing... mine is 3 turns from hard..
You can drop the car more..but i cant imagine how rough it could be..with little to no suspension travel..
Eibach has the sportlines..BMR has another lower one then mine....Steeda....Maybe you could switch out just the fronts to a lower spring...
Also a k-member brace might help with the dive you mention...and better brakes which is my nexy MOD..
Also alot of springs lower the car.. but arent necassarily stiffer...as the spring rates are the same...Find out what manufacture has the highest spring rate..that will tell you which has the stiffest...
good luck..let us know..

I did lower LCAs, panhard bar and support, and rear sway. Mucho stick to groundo and stay levelo. You'll like it. And I'm using stock springs and shocks/struts. Still feels like a roadster.
With d specs then you'd be out-turning porsches and miatas. Well, maybe.
