I went for a drive to Santa Monica pier today w/ my 3 yr. old and on the way I was driving along a white GT500. By the pier there was red vert GT500 and one of those GT-Hs parked on the street. As I was heading back home I passed by Santa Monica Ford and they had 2 black w/white stripe GT500s and few miles down the road at another dealeship there was a Saleen, ParnelliJones Ed., Shelby GT and what do you know, another GT500. You know, in SOCAL cars almost lose a bit of their flavor. I guess thats whywe personalize them.

I live in Southern Illinois and just seeing a Shelby Mustang in a showroom is a pretty big deal haha. They did have a Ford GT supercar in the showroom the day that I bought my car though, it was grey with white stripes! Gave me goosebumps haha...

I went to the Indy 500 this years and a national Ford GT club was there. I was about 40 GT's at once. Talk about goose bumps!!!!

The Island I live on has5 GT 500s that I know of. About 20,000 people live on St Simons/Sea Island. Most are owned(Driven) by middle aged men like me. Mine is at the Dealership I just haven't had the timeto go pick it up, it will be No. 6. My Mom is in the Hospitaland it is in the opposite direction as the Dealership. I'm hoping I can take her (Mom) home Tuesday. She lives in the same town as the Dealership.

Yeah, I pass by Buerge Ford(the second dealership you described) every morning when on my delivery route, and yeah, I see GT500s and Shelby GT/GT-Hs all over the west side. Saw a convertible GT-H the other morning, very sweet ride! Buerge Ford hasa black Shelby GT parked outside with the rest of the "regular" Mustangs, the GT500, Saleen S281 S/C and Saleen PJ sit nicely placed in their tiny showroom, I guess something's gotta give, huh?
