Default I need some real help with stripes! Factory stripes question too!

Ok all. I've decided to put the matte black rally racing stripes on my black 06GT. The ones that go all the way down the bumper.
I was wondering what width the stripes are on the 05's and up with stripes from the factory.
Are they 8 or 10 inch?
I can't find the width on the Ford site. The reason I am asking is that the factory ones seem a bit narrow so if they are 8 I want 10 and if they are 10 I want 12.

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

This should add some low level detail to my car.
Should look good with my Roush wheels with red calipersand the hoodpins I'm getting.
Thanks for the help and wish me luck!

yeah I'm ordering from them. I just want to know the size of the factory stripes that ford puts on the stangs.
That way I can get one size thicker...

Also will the stripes show fading if I take them off or show the natural fading of the rest of my car if I take them off?

I don't know what size the Ford stripes are but here is what the 10" Baltimore Street Mods look like on my car. I do think the factory ones are 8" because they look narrower that mine.

Hope this helps you decide.

perfect. Just what I was looking for. You are a lifesaver... now... about putting them on.
Im a little worried about what will happen if I ever take them off as far as the paint goes.
Will it show fading as far as the natural color fade on the rest of the car or will it fade under or at all or what?

I asked that question and was told that their was no fading around the stripes when they were removed. But I can't say from personal experience, mine have only been on a couple months. If it fades I'll have a good excuse to get them painted on when they need replacing. They don't last forever you know.
