I want a cai WITHOUT RETUNNING. Should I get the Granatelli cai or the C & L cai or a different one that doesn't require a retune. Thanks guys

The C&L requires a tune. I've hade mine for about a month now and what a difference!!! Got mine from Brenspeed with 3 tunes and couldn't be happier. Just went on a 1600mi road trip a week ago, and averaged 29.9 mpg on the interstate cruising at 82-83 mph with the 91 tune. Seriously consider getting one that requires a tune. You will be glad you did it.

I as well like the Granatelli. I think for people who are not ready to get a tune it is the best option. it gives good hp added but still can grow with you so when you are ready to add a tune you can. and trust me once you add the Granatelli CAI and feel and hear the difference, yuou will get the modding bug. it won't be long before you want a tune.

If you buy a CAI that claims they don't need a tune, you will be making a mistake. When the CAI arrives at your door, you will see a note along with the installation instructions that tells you that "you may throw codes", and the engine light will be lit. Most likely a lean condition exists. The after market CAI's look fantastic. They really dress up the engine area. however, keep in mind that the Shelby GT 500 has a stock CAI and it makes 500 hp.
