Glad you are alright. That is what reall matters. We can get a new car, or fix it. But you cant replace a person.
I would have been right with you though wanting to take some revenge.
Had my 90 Dodge Stealth run into in a parking lot, I was legally parked, by the tractor of a truck. Of course, He had a license - out of state, and of course, NO insurance. I did get it fixed but it was a headache and the ins co never pursued it.

Based on my experience, that car is totalled. Are you upside down on it, because if so you need to get a lawyer and milk the other insurance co. for all you can. Good luck with the grabber orange. Those things are sharp!

Luckily I have Gap insurance with my insurance company ... so I'm good to go. What sucks is I only had the car 10 months, has 11,000 miles on it and now I'll end up with nothing to show for it ... I'm gonna sit down this weekend and get all my records together to figure out how much the mods on the car are worth.

The driver who ran the red light wasn't 16 ... the 16 year old was the other driver also nailed by the red light runner. The red light runner was pregnant.

8 firefighters died doing their job this week.

A woman died pleading for help on a hospital floor last week.

A man in Texas was beat to death after being a passenger in a car that accidently hit a child.

Whats my point? You got it good, VERY GOOD, to have only gotten a damaged car. Ok maybe these are extreme examples, but always try to look at the bright side of things... Every time I feel flustered at work, or get frustrated having to spend so much time in class after work, or just feel down and out, I realize that as long as youre living, healthy and have all of your limbs - then you got it good.
