I'm fine. Driver was doing around 30 ... never hit brakes .. hit a Saturn that hit me .. and then continued on and hit me again. Driver was hispanic, 8 months pregnant and had no drivers license. She did produce a valid insurance card belonging to the car owner according to the police officer. He didn't arrest her because he didn't want her going into labor in his jail cell. All 3 cars were towed ... I was furious and had to climb out the drivers side door that was jammed on the fender. I was so furious that I didn't go anywhere near the driver or I would have strangled her. The 16 girl driving the Saturn had just got her drivers license today and her mother thought she was joking about the car wreck when she called home. Only the passenger 1/4 panel and rear bumper were left untouched ... the entire front clip shifted 2 inches ...

 

wow man that sucks.... such a pretty car that had to get hit.

If they total it, you could always go for the gt this time. Trying to find the bright side.

Man its good to hear your alright ... and its good she had a drivers license ... but i would get a lawyer and see if you can do anything to get more money towards a gt since she was driving w/o a license... poor 16 year old though

 

Well I'm no expert, but it looks pretty F'd up. Hopefully the at fault drivers insurance will pay. I went through a bunch of crap with an insurance company who didn't want to pay because the person who owned the policy didn't tell their insurance company that there teenage daughter was living with them. I ended up claiming it on my insurance and they went after the other company. Took me 7 months to get my mother ****ing deductible back!

 

That sucks. It looks totaled to me. If the airbags went off, it's definitely totaled.
Look on the bright side, you can get a GT! Make sure insurance knows the cost of any aftermarket stuff and just hope you get most of your money back. If you have a nice stereo, be sure to take that out if they total it.

I had an accident just over a month ago, State Farm said it was over $8k in damage, so they totaled it. I got a nice check for $13k (Above KBB Value) and bought a brand new 2007 V6.

 

Well that just plain *** sucks.......Every time I see one of the forum members wrecked, I just cringe.......
