I finally got my Flowmaster 40's on the other day (just axle-backs)...At first, I was a disapointed. Didn't sound much different AT ALL...However, they seem to be growling a little louder everyday andI love seeing those 4" chrome tips poking outfrom the matte black mufflers.I can't help mashing it every chance I get just to here them rumbling back there...

 

Congrats. Have someone drive your car while you sit on the side of the road and you won't think they sound different!

My gas mileage has gone down every since I put on my corsa's because I keep poking the throttle to hear it [>:]

 

Wiat until you get your CAI and tune, they'll sound even better.

 

I didnt know the 40's came with 4 inch tips???

 

Anyways, I have hadthe Flowmaster A/T's for almost a year now and they have most definatley gotten louder with time.

do you have regular 40 series or super 40's?

ive got the regualr 40's installed for about 3 weeks, they have broken in nicely but just arent loud enough.

an off road H pipe will proabably go in soon
