Taillight Trouble

RE: Taillight Trouble
Not to go off topic but my wife's Dodge Caliber states in the owners manual for either headlight or front turn signal replacement, take it to the dealer. You have to take the front bumper cover off to replace the bulbs as per the factory service manual.

Has anyone tried changing out a tail light yet? for some reason when i try to undo the nut it doesn't move at all and the whole assembly just spins, where i think the inside bolt is supposed to remain stationary. Anyone else having trouble with this or an easy fix?

I know what you are talking about and Yes i had the same problem when I went to change mine out...all the other nuts were fine but one of them just kept spinning around and wasnt even loosening up. There are two options: cut it out, which i dont suggest, or use some needle nose pliers......what u do is get the pliers and hold the tip of the bolt in place, then use the wrench to start taking the nut off. Once u get the nut off so far, you can use the pliers to hold the bolt from under the nut and now you have more room to maneuver the wrench to finish taking to nut off........
