Interesting posts!!! One thing that no one mentions is the fact that without more NEED for the additional air, it really won't matter much how much air is capable of being sucked through the filter system. Unless you open the valves more, they're probably close to being maxed out anyway. Even though I did purchase a CAI , TUNE, and Corsa Axle back mufflers, I really wasn't expecting much, and I was right. The real way to increase flow would either be to force more into the cylinders when the valve's are open (turbo, supercharger) or to open the valve's longer (Cams)...other than these two options (and of course NOS) you're really not going to make large gains.
