Have you tried a cleaner wax like meguiars? Were these from BSM? I have some small stains from bug guts that I can't get off, but water spots shouldn't be a problem.

I had some in my white rocker stripes. Ending up removing them and now I love my pony alot better!

thats what a clear coat is for.

I guess my stock paint job is crap because mines chipped right down to the aluminum. I still couldn't spend all that money on paint just to get it chipped to hell by all the log trucks around here.

i must have a great color. mineral grey i cant find one scratch or chip and ive had my car for over 2 years!

I just touch the stripe chips with super white car paint.It covers up the color showing through.If some day you replace the stripe you can remove the small paint dot with light compound.I use a very small touch up paint brush.My lower cdc spoiler really takes a beating.Hey, if you ain't got chips your not driving enough.
