Dumb question... I have a washable non-oiled air filter and I am wondering how to wash it. Can I just lay it on the ground and hose it out and let it air dry? I didn't have any instructions from Granatelli. I don't want to ruin it. Anybody.

Edit: See post 18. Sounds like it's a 'dry' filter.

Are you sure it doesn't have oil?

I wish C&L could revisit the design of their "heat shield". This whole "zip-tie to the ABS lines" thing is pretty lame. The racer looks a lot better than the street though, IMHO.

The filters from Granatelli say on the head of themDO NOTOIL FILTER, IT IS A DRY FILTER. You wash them with water and let them air dry in the sun. Do not blow them out with compressed air.

Looks alot better than the K&N did. But after seeing the K&N and C&L side-by-side, I have alot more respect for the K&N. I thought it was alot smaller than that.
