i just moved back to nj and bought my car in de so i had to either pay another 1100 or get inspected for free. so im at the inspection place and the guys about to but my sticker and i see the red "failed" stick going on my window. so i ask him what happened and their computer cant comunicate with my sensors! wtf! would my tuner do that? im going back tomorrow but im going to put the computer back to stock before i go. can the c&l cai run w/out the tune or do i ahve to put the stock air box in?

Yep stock airbox or you will throw a code from a lean condition. There are guys around me thaqt will sell you a sticker for $125.00 where are you at in NJ.

 

im near woodstown, 15 min from the del. memorial. is it a legit sticker?

 

LOL dont buy a sticker yet. Put the stock tune and airbox. Sure its annoying but its not an everyday thing. I do it everytime I go to the dealer. No big deal.

Drive it a good 50 miles also, just in case they can tell if the computer has recently been disconnected (or flashed)

Get it inspected at some gasoline staions and they charge like 100-200 bucks but they could care less and you will pass. Thats what you get for going to the free place I would never go there even though my car is stock they'd prob say my tint on lightswould faillol. Hurray for new cars! My next inspection is in 2010!
