Look closer,

Maybe it's really justa Grand-Am or Grand Prix with a gay sticker on it...I can hardly tell the difference between those three cars...They all look the same...

I fussed over getting a GTO because I liked everthing about it except the looks. My requirements were at least 400 hp until I saw and bought a black Shelby GT. Damn, by the time I shift into 5th gear the car is doing 125 mph.

I grew up in the '67-71 muscle car era and this mustang will beat just about everything that was made back then (stock) including my '70 Chevelle SS396. In fact, old muscle cars are dogs!

See the evidence for the '67 Shelby GT500, '70 Chevelle SS454, '70 Hemi Charger. The new Mustangs do the 1/4 mile in 13.5 secs (5 spd, 3:55 gears).

'67 GT500, 3000 lbs, 355 hp, 1/4 mile 14.6 sec @ 99 mph
'70 Chevelle SS454, 3800 lbs, 450 hp, 500 lb-ft, 1/4 mile 13.7 sec @ 103 mph
'70 Charger Hemi, 3800 lbs, 425 hp, 490 lb-ft, 1/4 mile 13.9 sec @ 105 mph

i don't need agay sticker that tells everyone how much HP i have to make myself feel good. just want a little more HP. thanks to the ones that actually are posting some ideas.

You don't need 400 h.p. to beat the GTO's, I don't have any trouble with them at all. H.P. doesn't mean anything when you start pushing more weight and can't hook up. Same goes for the Dodge barges, the R/T. SRT8's and Magnums. The Corvettes, Terminators, and Vipers give me trouble, but that is soon to be remedied. Gears, udp's, and a good tune and intake will put you in the ball-park against the GTO's. Remember they paid 5,000.00 to 8,000.00 to have aQueer Valier.

LOL!

GTO bashing is funny. But if you would have lined up againt my Red 2004 GTO you better have brought your best game cause it was damn fast. Be carefull running the GTOs lots of them are mod'ed.

Speaking of GTOs and HP stickers, I went on a cruise last Saturday and there was a GTO there with a 435HP sticker on the side of it. We raced from a roll at about 40 to about 100, and he only put about a car on me. I only have SLP LMs on, and I'm doing that well? How heavy are those ****ers?
