Default hood scoops

anyone have any of the hood scoops that only use the double sided tape?what are some good ones? i dont really want to screw into my hood for a fake hood scoop rather just stick it on there... how well do they hold? how easy it to clean around them i would think the soap would loosen the 3m tape, i always avoid getting too much soap in my quarter window louvers.

I would think you could use just 3M tape with any scoop if you did not want to use bolts - I could be wrong - but I don't see why not... You would just maybe have to buy extra tape.

I have the 3D Carbon on mine. Have had no issues with the 3M tape. The scoop fills up the hood nicely.

Any pics of the 3D Carbon on your car? Looks great in the small pic but hard to see details. I assume it just uses 3M tape? Thanks.

The 3M VHB tapes are impervious to car soaps.
Keep it under 95MPH and they should stick OK.
lean the area with alcohol to remove any wax and
allow 24hours adhesion time before driving fast
in a headwind.

I just took these pics in the garage, hope they help. The scoop is just held on with the 3M tape.
