I just got my tint today. Here in the atlanta area, law is 32% for all windows, which sux. But the guys at the shop would have done 20%, but that comes with no warranty and you have to sign a waiver releasing them from responsibility. Plus, they said they have to strip about 5 cars a week for people that get tickets for too dark. Police are real **** about here obviously, so I went with 32% all around. And its not dark enough for me, but i dont want the headache of getting a ticket and having to remove it. Plus, when im out on weekends, I dont want to give the Po Po any reason at all to pull me over!

With that said, 32 isn dark enough, but better than factory glass for sure!

Aren't tint tickets usually just fix-it tickets though, so you can just pay the $100 or whatever it is and leave your tint on? That makes the tint more expensive in the long run, but it looks pretty good. And when you're crusing, just leave the windows down as often as possible (or at least when you see the cops around.)

when I got mine, they charged me 90 bucks and I got to keep the tint, so yes, and no, its not a fix a ticket, its just a ticket in Texas..

In IL they make you take the tint off on the side of the road or take the ticket which is around $100 I think and then your suppose to take it off. If you get pulled over the second time its a ticket for more and you have to take it off at that time on the road!! So far I havent gotten caught! (knock on wood)
I am getting a WI license place when I get back from college so that I dont have to worry about the IL cops when I am home!! There is always a way to get around stuff!!!
