Order the kit from brenspeed and get free nitrous tunes. Then just order a bottle warmer. Thats all you really need. the rest will be just accomidations.

With a 75 you can run your tuner with no problems. No need to change plugs.
Anything over a 75 you will need sparkplugs. stage 1 colder.
I run a brenspeed 89 tune with 91 gas and a 100 shot.

I am very mechanicaly challenged and it took me about9 hours to install the zex kit with all the goodies(heater, gauges, blow down, opener, purge)I will have it on the dyno this saturday to find out the results. It fought me a few times but the it wasnt bad the satisfaction of doing it myself is very empowering. I got lazy and had someone do the plugs for me. Now I want the rpm switch.

It's not hard at all. Anyone with basic reading and hand tool skills could do it. My kit is only eight months old and is in very good condition, includes all the parts and instructions. I don't have current pics of the system off the car, I can take some if you want. Here are some pics of it when it was installed.

Hey hammeron, you got any pics of your ride?
ORIGINAL: hammeron

that sounds reasonable to me, if your handing
the shop all of the parts and they are doing
everything....

I just got quoted $450 for install. Doesn't that sound a bit high?

I dont know about the nx kit but I put the zex on my car and was a very simple install. only problem I have is that it has rained every day since I have had it on the car and the one day I took it to the track I couldnt spray it because I didnt have my fire jacket with me. maybe this weekend I'll get to get some time trials with it

Not bad at all! I don't think you could beat that price anywhere else.

yeah i do...my tune now has the timing turned up all the way. i am going to get a tune for running nitrous (timing back around to stock), and the one i have now for when i'm not running the juice.

on a side note...my shop guy is working on a tune that will allow me to run on one tune. he is going to take my current tune and adjust it to run with my timing all the way up right until WOT. At that point, it will retard the timing back to around stock right before the juice sprays. He is going to test it on his test-stang first. If it works and tests good, then we are going to put it on my car.

Where did the ones that have Nitrous, tap into a Gas sourse, for the wet system?
