Wierd sound in the passenger side
Just bought a 05 v6 (premium package: leather, shaker 500, tail, etc.) for my wife. She loves it and so do I. Great mileage, no questions about the sound and it is faster than my 98 GT, motor sounds also nice. Great car for everyday use. Day 2: a "click-click-click" (like some something hitting a window or metal) started to sound in the left side of the car... specifically when the road becomes irregular or bumpy. Day 4: we discovered that the hood was disaligned (the left corner was lower than the right one). Day 5: we went back to the dealership... they aligned the hood easily, but they still can not find the source of the funny sound. [:@] They have naked the door, the front of the car and their answer is: "Well, its a new car and we still dont know a lot about it". They are now thinking (we are convinced) on giving us a new car...

RE: Wierd sound in the passenger side
I had a similar sound with the '98 V6 I used to have. It turned out that one of the heat shields on the catalytic converter was loose. It sounded like a metalic clicking sound. Not sure if this helps you at all. Good luck.

RE: Wierd sound in the passenger side
I have had a knocking sound coming from the rear-end. I took it to the dealership and they said the had one come in earlier in the week with the same problem. They ordered the parts (I don't know what was ordered) and just got a call Fri. saying they were in and to schedule an appointment to have a new rear end put in!! Anybody else had this problem??
