And last, in between the two front seats where the storage box is, the plastic on the side of it is so easy to scratch. I have so many scratches in it and I don't have a clue why.
Do you wear rings and wear your seatbelt?
Your rings could be scratching the sides
of your console.[:@]

Nah, I don't wear rings and always wear my seatbelt. I even make sure if any girl is sitting next to me in the front that she doesn't have any belts that rub on it or anything, I'll make them take it off lol. I guess you are right it is a small problem, as I stated in my first post, it is just annoying. I always want my car to be perfect, I'm sure you guys know what I mean.

Didnt the Mustang win an award for being the most problematic-free car?
I know it's about the only domestic vehicle that consumer reports rates as "recommended"...they usually praise the japanese cars and bag on the americans...IMO these small problems are a small price to pay for haulin some serious a$$ and smokin some serious tire...it's kind of like dating a really hot, not-so-bright chick...yeah there's stuff you can complain about, but you probably figured as much going in, right? So just love on the hot...
My 00' Ford F250 work van engine went @ 52K miles, the tranny failed @ 99K.It has 230K now. I had a Chebby CK2500 PU& the trannys input/out put bearings failed just out of warranty.

If those are your worst out of warranty problems then I think that is fantastic for 44K. ALL of your repairs could be made for under $500& then you would have a "perfect" car right? These cars are fairly priced for the performance you get.
They also give you head room to add more HP. There arnt many cars that you bump stock hp from 260/300hp to 400 + & NOT have to up grade any other parts to handle the extra HP!!!!! Try that in your Subaru!!!! Whole drive line needs to be made beefier. You will break all kinds of crap fast if you dont.
