Ford touch up paint..

Default Ford touch up paint..

was doing some highway driving and a rock kicked up and skid against the hood of my car[:@] probably about an inch scratch, its deep enough to se some kind of white under there...and my car is black to top it off! anyway has anyone tried this ford touch up paint? does it work?

i bought the ford touch up paint from my dealer. it worked out fine. good luck

same product. i am not sure how bad your scratch is...but i just had a little chip in the paint that i fixed. It worked well on the tungsten color, but since you're black...I'm not sure how it will turn out--black tends to show a lot.

Dupli-Color also has touchup paint. Theirs has a double sided applicator, pen on one side brush on the other. I've been looking at many dept stores and all the auto supply stores in my area and they are always out of black. The stores say its Dupli-Color's fault for not keeping up store stocks. I wanted the double sided applicator but i guess I'll have to break down and get some from the Ford dealer (their's only has a brush).

hmm.. ya i saw the dupli color at advance auto parts, but i fugured this is the official touch up from ford. im gona take a pic of my scratch and maybe someone can help me out. if worse comes to worse, its only 10 bucks i guess.

well this sucks i cant find my usb cable to show u guys the pictures..but the scratch looks very similar to the video that wingman linked.

I got mine from the dealer and it had the dual set up. But mine was white.
