How embarassing is it for such a cool car to have such a SH!TTY key and remote. Looks like something you'd start a tractor with...

Even myDodge Magnum has a better key than this P.O.S.

Where can I get something to replace it with? I saw a few covers for it (Shelby logo) on ebay, but i dont think so... Doesno one make a neat (read Modern) looking replacement?
Any ideas?

 

I don't know where to find a better key, but consider this: 1. at least it would fit in a hide-a-key unlike your mopar transmitter key and 2. the replacement mopar keys, out of warranty, go for $200 incl. tax and being programmed to the vehicle (I work at a dodge dealer) and are prone to internal failure.

Why on earth would anyone be ashamed of what their car key looks like? Do you worry about your house keys? Work keys? At least they fit nicely on a keyring and aren't the size of a cellphone like I have seenfor some imports.

I'm just glad it's not like my '84 Mustang that had seperate keys for the doors and ignition.
