Thanks for all the replies. I am onthe lookout for one of those "touchless" washes. I have seen them in other states but not here in central NJ. They must be hiding someplace. There is one of those do it your self places nearby...but then I might as well do it in my driveway and not pay anyone to do it. I will have to be sure to pop a few advil beforehand....

Ok Here is a Idea[sm=Flahssssss.gif] maybe you could ask a friend to help you wash your car that would be the best option.Just say no to the car wash[sm=badidea.gif]

I'll be quite honest, here in northern NJ, there are day laborers that actually wash your car in the one "brushless car wash" near our home - although I feel bad watching them through the glass window (I try not to - but I am nutty about my cars...)... when I bring the chevys, I pay the $12 bucks, get a wash, leave them a tip and leave happy - my daily drivers look A-OK... The 'Stang, on the other hand, has saturday AM's set aside for him. Gets a nice wash, polish and wax and then to the car show or cruising...

Red Stang guy had a great idea...

You are something else. First you tell me about a HUMMER, now you are offering a handjob... I mean a hand wash. lol

Well, you seemed a bit uptight to me on your first post.... [sm=roll.gif] I mean, complaining about a seatbelt...

We used to have a total handwash car place up on the highway. I used it all the time. It's long gone.
I bet it might be a good business to get into.

I go to the self-service pressure wash places and do it myself. I also spray it with meguirs wax after every wash, while its still a little wet, and let that set in for 5 minutes, then wipe everything off.

'Tis life when you own such a wonderful vehicle.
