I cant believe I wasted my time reading that debate.... great milage though, I was happy with my 26.5 driving my car from my parents back to my place 180 miles away the day after i bought it.

Me too! My hood lifts at 80 mph, the front ends clunks alittle over bumps, the car "bumpsteers", the windows squeak in the weatherstripping once in awhile.....and I LOVE it!! Adds character!!!
To everyone bitching about the car's idiosyncracies: Sell/trade-in quickly, and get a nice, cushy, creature comfort filled, quiet bore fest of a car, because you're NOT WORHTY of a real , in your face kind of car like the Mustang!
Oh, BTW I've never gotten better than 20.5 MPG in my '06 automatic GT ....which is FINE by me!
