Keep it or lose it?
I lost my father on July 1,07 and he left me a 2001 conv't Corvette paid for. Lessthen 10,000 mi. on her. Do I keep the Stang with payments? I just got my car the way I like it. This is a tough decision.Whats your advice?
First of all I'm sorry about your father. Keep the car for ever, I would neversell that car dueto the sentimental value. Keep paying your stang eventualy you would be avail to mod it the way you want it.
Man. Sorry to hear about your loss. I'd keep both. The 'vette should be a garage queen and only driven on special occasions to remember your dad (car shows, holidays, anniversaries, whenever you miss him, weekends, etc). I personally wouldn't want to run up miles on something that you're gonna realizes symbolizes your lost father to ya. My .02
Definitely keep the Corvette and your Mustang!! You're getting a free Corvette-- what's there to think about????
Sorry to hear about your dad.. I've lost a parent too. Time does heal all wounds, and good memories last forever!!!

The Vette, as a car, is awesome! Yummy. Also, it has sentimental value.
But don't let memories of a great father make you suffer financially... If you can sell it and relieve stress on your life and possibly pay the stang off, then maybe you should do that.... Or vice versa and sell the stang and keep just the vette.
My point is don't let sentiment dictate your life... You'll suffer. You have your memories and thats what counts. You only live once, and you can't live that life paying tribute to another life... Enjoy your memories and do what you need to do to help your future.

People make alot of stupid decisions regarding deciding whether or not to keep or get rid of their loved ones possessions after they have passed on. Keep the vette for at least eight months to a year and allow yourself time to somewhat get over his death before you make any hasty decisions.
